Our goal is to keep the site focused on helping people. We don’t want it to be about us – so help us to focus on what kind of information you would find useful based on our experience.
RV’s are like having a complete home on wheels and they have to be durable so that they can take the pressures of driving down roads of all different quality. So, your systems (including plumbing) have to be durable enough to take bumps and shaking. As you drive your Class A or tow your fifth wheel or tow-behind trailer, your gear is going to need fixing sooner or later.
For us, reality hit us the first time we blew a hydraulic line for our leveling jacks. Then we had a water line loosen on the back side of our shower (terrible leak). Then we had a heater blower fan break into pieces. Again, this is inevitable since your rocking all these systems as you drive.
